Simba and Nala's son and daughter, Kion and Kiara, are now in the prime of their lives as young teenagers. The two are learning to hunt and fend for themselves, with Kion continuing to protect the Pridelands with his untraditional Lion Guard. Kiara has managed to meet an Outlander in this time, making unlikely friends with a young male by the name of Kovu - Scar's heir.





With this meeting the fate of the two prides would drastically change - Zira would attempt to seek redemption against Simba's betrayal, but this time through her son. Will the two prides reconcile their differences, before it's too late--or will Kiara and Kovu play out their Romeo and Juliet story until the tragic end?
